This event is the finale of our annual Garden Competition!  It’s an opportunity for Newport in Bloom to recognize the residents and local businesses who are personally invested in beautifying the city through their gardens and decorative containers. All entrants will receive an invitation to the celebration.  There are 1^st , 2^nd, 3^rd   and Honorable Mention awards for Gardens and Containers in each of the Areas, as well as awards for Community entries.

Each year, we award a “Best Overall” ribbon for the outstanding Garden and Container entry of the year.  Winners will receive a framed original watercolor of their award winning entry. The annual celebration is held outdoors at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in the Horseshoe in mid-August. The ceremony is preceded by a cocktail hour where guests can socialize with fellow gardeners and participate in our Raffle and Silent Auction. Last year, we had 105 entries and about 165 attendees.
