The Organization

Newport in Bloom is a 100% volunteer organization committed to beautifying the City of Newport for the enjoyment of all. We have members of all ages, backgrounds and levels of gardening expertise. It’s a fun group that offers a chance to participate in a variety of different community activities throughout the year. There is an annual calendar of core Newport in Bloom/Daffodil Days events and depending on member interest, we may add additional events to the calendar, often in participation with other community organizations. Even if your experience lies in areas other than traditional gardening, please consider joining us. There are so many different ways to help. We are always looking for fresh ideas and new energy.

Membership in Newport in Bloom is free. We do ask members / volunteers to help and support our activities, attend periodic meetings and – now and then – be willing to get their hands a little dirty.

If you would like to get involved, please sign up or request information on our Contact Us page or email newportinbloom.ri@gmail.com.

Honorable Mentions

A special thanks to our generous supporter, Mrs. Mary Coleman, for her donation which allows us to add another 40 baskets to the 100 we already have. Her support to Newport In Bloom is invaluable and we are so very appreciative of this very kind gesture. Newport in Bloom would like to thank Barbara Richter and Rose Northup for their continued support of the program. Newport in Bloom would also like to thank Colin McCabe, who served as the Newport in Bloom Webmaster for three years.
